Pricing

Orbit is free.

The Orbit MCP server, every web tool, every guide — free for everyone. No subscription, no seat licensing, no upgrade tier, no paywall. If Orbit earns its keep, donations on /support keep the project shipping.

How it works

  1. Open /sign-up. Create a free account so the portal works across versions and your tool history follows you.
  2. Grab the .mcpb. Double-click it; Claude Desktop installs it automatically.
  3. Future versions land in your portal at /account/downloads. Always one click away.
  4. Optional: if Orbit saves you real time, donate what it's worth on /support. Decoupled from access — paying nothing changes nothing.

Why free

Lifecycle marketing is full of tooling tax: enterprise SaaS that asks four figures a month, prompt packs that ship thin and expire, Chrome extensions locked to one tab. The thing operators actually need — opinionated, end-to-end methodology that compounds — barely exists at any price.

Free changes the calculus:

  • No procurement gate. Anyone on a Claude Desktop can install Orbit in under a minute. No purchase order, no expense report, no reason to delay.
  • Distribution beats monetisation. The faster Orbit reaches the operators it's built for, the faster the methodology compounds across the field. Funding is downstream of impact, not a gate to it.
  • Donations stay honest.Anyone who pays does so because Orbit earned it. That's the right shape for tooling built by a practitioner for practitioners.

The goal is to give back to the lifecycle community — a field that taught me everything I know — without putting up a wall.

What you get for free

  • The Orbit .mcpb extension for Claude Desktop — 63 lifecycle skills, 91 MCP tools, native Braze integration.
  • 13 free web tools — no account, no usage limits.
  • 89 long-form practitioner guides + 10 curated courses.
  • A portal at /account/downloads with version history and one-click access to the latest .mcpb.
  • Saved tool history across the 13 web tools — naming conventions, scored subject lines, IP-warm plans, Liquid snippets, and more.
  • Course progress tracking, completion badges, and LinkedIn-shareable certifications.
  • Every future update, free. No subscription, no expiry.

If you want to support

/support has a slider — pay what you think Orbit's worth. The amount is a one-time donation, not a subscription. There's no license unlock, no portal change, no "unlock advanced features." Donating just funds more Orbit.

Hosting, infrastructure, and the time to keep shipping practitioner-grade content at AI-first pace. Every dollar lands back in the project.

Questions people actually ask

Is there a paid tier?
No. Everything Orbit ships is free for everyone. Donations are voluntary and don't change what you have access to.
Do I need an account?
A free account is required for the download portal — that's how you get future versions automatically. The web tools at /apps need no account.
Can my company expense a donation?
Yes. Stripe issues a proper receipt at checkout. Treat it like any other open-source contribution.
What currency?
USD. Stripe handles conversion from your card's currency at standard rates.
