How it works
Subscribe. Your activation key is on your account within seconds and stays there. Download the .mcpb, double-click it, paste the key into Claude Desktop under Settings → Extensions → Orbit → Activation Key, switch Orbit on, then quit Claude and open it again. Under two minutes.
Pricing questions
What happens if I stop paying?
Monthly and yearly renew automatically until you cancel, and cancelling stops the next charge. You keep Orbit until the end of the period you have paid for. After that the key stops validating: every skill and tool refuses and points you back here, and only the three that tell you what is installed (orbit_check_setup, orbit_check_version, orbit_list_skills) still answer. Everything Orbit built for you is files on your own machine and stays yours.
What does buying it outright mean?
You pay once and Orbit is yours for the life of the product. Nothing renews, there is nothing to cancel, and every release after it is included. If we ever stop supporting Orbit we tell outright owners at least 90 days beforehand, and the last version we shipped keeps running offline.
Can I move between monthly, yearly and outright?
Yes, from this page, in one click. Pick the plan you want and your existing subscription moves onto it the moment you click. Moving up, Stripe invoices the difference that day. Moving down, the unused part of what you paid becomes credit against your next invoices, unless you are inside the first 30 days of a yearly term, in which case it goes back to your card instead. Your activation key does not change, so there is nothing to paste into Claude again. Buying it outright goes through checkout because it is a one-off charge, and your subscription then stops at the end of the period you have already paid for, not that day. Owning it outright is the last stop, and coming back down would be a refund rather than a switch, so talk to us if you need that.
Can I run it on two machines?
One machine at a time. The key is personal to your account, yours rather than your team's, and you can generate a new one from your account when you change machines. Extra people need extra subscriptions.
Can I get a refund?
In the EU and the UK you have 14 days to change your mind, unless you asked us to start straight away and ticked the box acknowledging that ends the right. Even then you can cancel inside the 14 days and pay only for what you used. On a yearly plan, cancel within 30 days and we refund the unused part of the year, pro rata. Monthly: cancel and the next charge does not happen, but a term already started is not refunded. Buying it outright is not refundable once bought. None of that limits the Australian Consumer Law. How do I cancel?
One click. Open your account and hit Manage billing. That opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can change the card, read every invoice, or cancel. No email, no retention call, no notice period. Before each yearly renewal we email you the date and the amount in time to do something about it.
Is there a free version?
Not of the MCP. The 99 guides, the 10 courses, the glossary and the 23 web tools are free to read and use, with no account. What a subscription buys is Claude doing the work with you.
