Legal

Terms of use.

Last updated: 22 September 2026

The short version

Use Orbit for any legitimate lifecycle-marketing work, personal or commercial. Don't redistribute the MCPB as your own, don't try to break the site, don't do anything illegal with it. We provide it as-is. If you're in Australia, the consumer guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law still apply and nothing below takes those away.

The Orbit MCP extension is a paid subscription. The guides, the courses, and the free web apps cost nothing and stay that way.

Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and JSTN Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 81 690 388 768) trading as Orbit AI ("Orbit", "we", "us"). They cover:

  • The website at yourorbit.team.
  • The MCPB extension (Orbit for Claude).
  • The paid subscription to that extension, and the payments taken for it.
  • The free web apps under /apps.
  • Any downloadable artefact we publish.
  • Voluntary contributions made before 22 September 2026, while we were still taking them.

What you can do

  • Install and run Orbit on a machine you control, for any legal purpose, commercial or personal, while your subscription is active. One machine at a time, and no cap on how much you use the tools.
  • Use the guides, skills, and web apps as references in your own work. A link back is appreciated but not required.
  • Quote short passages from the guides or skill pages in your own writing with attribution.
  • Fork or contribute to any public Orbit repository under the licence stated in that repo.

What you can't do

  • Republish the full Orbit MCPB under a different brand or pretend you built it. Re-package and resell without a written agreement.
  • Scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other visitors, or circumvent any rate limit.
  • Reverse-engineer the admin surface, try to access data that isn't yours, or probe for vulnerabilities without a responsible-disclosure report via the contact form.
  • Use Orbit to send spam, run scams, harass people, or operate unsolicited outbound at scale. We will block you and, if serious, report you.
  • Use the MCPB to exfiltrate customer data from your Braze instance to a third party without authorization. The tools are yours: the data obligations come with them.

Paid subscription

The Orbit MCP extension is the one thing here you pay for. Where this section says something different to the rest of these terms, this section wins.

What you get

A licence to install and run the Orbit MCP extension, and every update we ship to it, for as long as your subscription is active. It runs on your machine and talks to Braze and anything else you connect it to on your own platform keys. Your marketing data never passes through us and we hold none of it.

What it costs

USD $49 a month, USD $490 a year, or USD $1,190 once for a lifetime seat. Prices are in US dollars, so your bank sets the rate if your card is held in another currency. You pay through Stripe Checkout under Stripe's own terms, and your card details never reach us.

We are selling ten lifetime seats and no more. A lifetime seat belongs to the account that bought it: you cannot transfer it, resell it, or move it to another company.

It renews until you stop it

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically. You agree to that at checkout, before you pay, on the checkout page itself and not buried in here. Before each annual renewal we email you the date and the amount in time to do something about it. You can cancel whenever you like from the Stripe billing portal, in the same few clicks it took to buy: no phone call, no email to us, no notice period. Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not refund the term you are already in, except as below.

Switching plans

You can move from monthly to annual, or annual to monthly, whenever you like, from the pricing page. The change takes effect straight away on the same subscription, and your activation key does not change: there is nothing to paste into Claude again.

Moving up to annual is charged when you ask for it: we credit the unused part of the month and charge the rest, on one invoice. Moving down to monthly is not a refund. The unused part of the year becomes a credit on your account, and we apply that credit to your future invoices until it is used up: we do not pay it back to your card. If you are inside the first 30 days of an annual term and you would rather have the money than the credit, cancel instead of switching, and the refunds paragraph below applies.

Moving to a lifetime seat goes through checkout as a one-off payment. We then cancel the subscription it replaces at the end of the term you have already paid for, so you keep the time you bought and the lifetime seat starts at once. A lifetime seat cannot be switched to anything else: there is nothing above it, and it is not refundable once bought. Cancelling, updating your card, and downloading past receipts stay in the Stripe billing portal, which you reach from your account page. Plan changes do not happen there.

Changing your mind

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have 14 days from your first purchase to cancel it and get your money back, unless you asked us to start straight away and ticked the box at checkout acknowledging that starting straight away ends that right. If you did ask us to start straight away, you can still cancel inside the 14 days and pay only for the part you used.

Refunds

Cancel an annual subscription within 30 days and we refund the unused part of the year, pro rata. After 30 days, and on monthly subscriptions, we do not refund a term you have already started. A lifetime seat is not refundable once bought. None of that limits the Australian Consumer Law: if we fail a consumer guarantee, that law sets the remedy and this paragraph does not.

If your subscription lapses

When a subscription ends, you cancel it, or a payment fails and stays failed, the activation key stops validating and the extension's tools stop working until you renew. Nothing of yours is taken. Your files, your platform keys, and anything you generated stay on your machine, untouched, and you can uninstall in your own time. We hold none of it, so there is nothing here for us to return or delete.

What lifetime means

The life of the product, not the life of you or of the company. If we stop selling Orbit or stop supporting it, we will tell lifetime holders at least 90 days before that takes effect, and the last version we shipped stays usable offline: the final release relaxes the key check for lifetime seats so it keeps running without us.

Your activation key

The key is personal to your account. Use it on one machine at a time. Don't share it, publish it, or sell it. If we find a key being shared we may revoke it, and we will tell you why. If you lose it or change machines you can generate a new one from your account: that is what it is there for.

GST and invoices

JSTN Consulting Pty Ltd is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged on a subscription and the price you see is the whole amount. We issue a receipt for every charge to the email address on your subscription, showing our ABN, the date, and what you paid for. It is not a tax invoice, because there is no GST on it to claim. If we register for GST later we will tell you before the next charge, and prices may become GST-inclusive for customers in Australia from then.

Changing the price or these terms

We can change either, but not quietly and not mid-term. We will email you at least 30 days before a change takes effect, and it applies from your next renewal rather than the term you are in. If you don't want it, cancel before it starts and you pay nothing more. The price of a lifetime seat does not change, because you have already paid it.

Voluntary contributions

We took voluntary contributions until 22 September 2026 and we don't any more. The donate page is gone; our help page sits at that address now. Anything given before that date was an unconditional gift to JSTN Consulting Pty Ltd on the terms that applied then : not a purchase, not tax deductible, and carrying no GST and no tax invoice, because we were not registered for GST. A past gift is not refundable, though the 30-day window those terms offered still runs for any gift made inside it; the contact form reaches us. Nothing here limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or the equivalent consumer protection where you live.

Who owns what

Orbit's code, guides, and branding are owned by JSTN Consulting Pty Ltd. Output Claude produces when you run the skills is yours: we don't claim rights over the emails, programs, plans, or docs you generate. The Orbit MCP extension is licensed to you under the paid-subscription section above, for as long as your subscription is active.

Third-party dependencies

Orbit works with Claude Desktop (Anthropic) and optionally with Braze, and uses Stripe for subscription payments. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We're not responsible for their uptime, pricing, or behavior. If Anthropic changes the MCP spec in a way that breaks Orbit, we'll ship a fix, but we can't guarantee a zero-downtime migration.

No warranty (to the extent permitted)

Orbit is provided as-is. We make no promises that it's error-free, fit for a particular purpose, or compatible with every Braze workspace configuration. The free web apps are calculators and helpers: you're responsible for sanity-checking anything critical that comes out of them before it touches a real send.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or equivalent local consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction where that exclusion is not legally permitted.

Liability cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of Orbit is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or, if you hold a lifetime seat, the lifetime fee you paid. If you have paid us nothing, that figure is nil, and we are not asking you to pay anything to use a free tool.

Where a consumer guarantee applies to a paid service and that service is not one ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use, our liability for failing to meet the guarantee is limited, at our option, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or equivalent local consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction where that exclusion is not legally permitted.

Suspension and termination

We may block access or take down content that breaches these terms. You can stop using Orbit at any time by cancelling your subscription in the billing portal, uninstalling the MCPB, and unsubscribing from any email list.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute goes to the courts of Queensland first, unless mandatory local consumer law says otherwise for your jurisdiction.

Changes

If we change anything substantive, the "last updated" date at the top will change and, if we have your email, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
